font don't work!!!

I have this two fonts that were given to me by my client and he wants to use them in his web site, the thing is that I cant use them in flash or photoshop, they work fine in illustrator. They both are .PFM and .PFB

I don't wanna say anything to the client 'cause, you know, gotta look pro!

I installed the fonts in the system but they don't appear in the font option.
Like when you want to use text in flash, you choose a font, right? well, it's not there. It is there with illustrator. But not in flash, or photoshop. Is it me or maybe the font is corrupted or something!

sometimes they are not in alphabetical order. or maybe its called somthing different than the filename. Just some thoughts.

what OS are u running on?
I think these fonts are made for a Mac. Im running on win xp pro. When I doubleclick on them it says they are invalid font files. There might be software out there that can open or convert those files so that you can use them. Ill check it out later but im pretty sure there mac fonts.

yes, that what I think too. I'm working on PC win xp, but they worked in illustrator, how can that be????

hey i typed in ".pfb fonts" on google and i found this website:http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=241873. I read something on that page and i think Adobe Type Manager would be of some use. The fonts you are trying to use are type-1 fonts i think. This person has the same problem as you on the board in this site. Check it out and see if it helps. Post back and tell me how it goes.
