Hi, im pretty new to flash and i have this simple problem,

bsaically, i want to create a logo

i want a circle as an outer ring, and SP written in the middle

and i want the circle to carry on spinning fOR EVER AND EVER AND EVER

but i want to spin the SP once and then stop

i tried to create the outer ring as a "new movie clip"
this worked but when i tried to export then import to library in a new document, it wouldnt spin, only the SP would spin

perhaps an action script is needed or something,

you need three mc one for the ring one for the sp and an other to hold the two ...

the holder should have only one frame containing both of the other mc and you should just put a stop() at the end of the sp animation...

u mean
in the SP (MC), u want me to have a layer of the SP sppining
then add a new layer called STOP ACTION, and then add a stop action to it?

then make a new MC for the ring,
then make a HOLDER?

then u want me to import them both to the HOLDER MC?
