How Do I Edit A Long Movie Clip

I got this tut with a long movie clip. It stops off the screen and i cant edit the rest of the material.

what do i do to access the rest of the stuff??

depending whats in the timeline, you can click on it,and whatever part you clicked will be selected...then just use the right or left and up and down arrow keys to move it.

its not just a little bit long that i can drag it out of the way...

its a barney style movie clip

it looks like it expands 2 feet

why not reduce it to 25%..then select it
use the arrow keys with the shiftkey...it will roll along pretty fast.when you get to the parts you want to edit..make it larger

I have some longer then 2 feet..I like diversty in a moving background

how do i move the begining of the movie clip over the button that looks lke this (+) which indicates the center

its not dragable

the first part of four is the only one i can see

the other 3 are like 2 feet off the page andi cant see them becaue its just the grey background

Movie clips are limited to a height or width of +/- 2800 pixels.

Unlock the layer and lock the others. Right click the stage and select all. Group whatever it selected, then drag it out where you can work on it, after making note of it's x and y position, so you can return the group there.

hmm. thats basicaly what i have been doing but when i try and put it back i cant see where to return it too
