SWF or DIR files to MOV???

i am wondering if there is a way to screen capture movies in SWF or DIR format. I have a DIR file that i would like to be able to incorporate into my Flash portfolio site but as i understand you can only import FLA into DIR not DIR into FLA so my only option would be capture my DIR file into a MOV file in order to use it in my portfolio site.

You can use AE 6.5 to add swf files to the timeline and output AVI. From there I'd import the edited AVI and squeeze it using the Sorenson Suite.

I've done a few reels like this and it works great for mixed (video) media.
