Thread: buffer size limits?

    KoolMoves is a great prduct/idea...

    i have had only one problem with it so far. i always seem to exceed the buffer limit, so i never get to export as..

    anyway around this?

    There are two options-

    1.Seperate your .swfs into smaller chunks and use the load url action

    2.or the better option, use the load movie action, this is basically seperating all the components of say your main page- sound, menus, and graphics, and have them load as seperate sections.

    The file size really isn't that bad, but it would be better if we could adjust it ourselves, that probally will be implemented in a later version.

    I read in another post that the buffer limit was around half a MB. Is that correct?

    It is a little over half a MB now, it was increased in one of the latest versions. I think its 800kb now.

    I will increase the buffer size in the next version of KoolMoves. Ideally, it should adjust to the necessary value but that is more effort than I want to put into it at this time.
