Embedding hyperlinks in .swf files

Hi all -
first post.....new to the board & to Flash in general so go easy
I've been making some buttons using the Insane 3d Flash Animator program and everything is going well....except for when I try to add URL links to the buttons.
There's a feature in this prog for adding actions such as this, & I'm filling in all the required info, & it works when I test it (i.e - button opens a new page to a forum I've got), but when I save the "movie" & try opening it in IE....nothing.
Any ideas?
