    A fair point. Is there a Mac OS replica for PC? Like a Linux one where you could "trial" the OS -- I don't remember exactly what the name was but it goes something like Winux?

    pear pc is a mac emulator for the pc, and yes, you must own the OS to use it.

    I have found that when talking to the female species in a bar or club as soon I mention 'G5 Mac' I've pulled.
    Keep it rural.

    Goodess me man......they are the *last* places on earth you want to talk about macs or computers to chicks .

    BTW you gotta love the attention seeking icons on the OSX, they are a nuisance but they make sure you do what they want.

    I use a five button Microsoft mouse on my Mac and have Zero problems. Also, you can hold down the one mouse button on a factory Mac mouse and getthe same effect as right-clicking. If you're REALLY into it you can also hold down the control button and click to get a "right-click menu".

    Oh, and by the way, when I worked at Apple as a tech, yes, I got all the women. (That's where I met Kristi!!)

    actually this works good with puppies.. get a nice cute puppy take it for a walk... gets a lot of women's attention..
