Never Give up.
What is a rewarding time in your life? Something that you have pushed and pushed to get, then finally got after a lot of work to get it.
Here is my story.
Many of you know I have been struggling to get my book published. To even get my foot in the door. Well this morning a publisher in Scotland wants me to send them a manuscript after reading a short story I gave them. They were impressed.
I went to hundreds of publishers before, all have said they can't publish it, or wouldn't even look at a manuscript. So I sent some work to one in Scotland, and I got my foot in the door finally.
It shows that you shouldn't give up, no matter how tough it is.
What is your story of Never give up?

Dude, whether you choose to keep or loose your ass is no business of mine.
But I appreciate your pursuit of the hedonistic pleasures of life. This, I can relate to.

It took me forever to get into college but I finally got into my first choice. Worked for hours on applications to all different schools, applying twice in one case, and got where I wanted to be. Never give up.
It must be obvious day at camp stupid

Retired SCORM Guru
My 3rd time out on a mountain bike, I barely made it to the top of the Tourne, a small mountain in NJ.
Up there was a huge tree laying across a clearing, with some sticks piled up to lead into it.
My legs were rubber, my lungs were burning. I came up short on my first 4 attempts, getting my front wheel over but unable to get my back wheel up on top of the log.
On the 5th try, my rear tire skidded out right before the lead-in and I lost all momentum on the way up. My bike slid backwards, I jammed on my brakes, but I kept going backwards, jamming the nose of my seat firmly in my asscrack.
This was right after the NJ Governer's scandal, and was therefore dubbed a "McGreevey" by my fellow riders.
The moral: There's a fine line between persistence and stupidity.

there was a time when i wanted to give up.
the blade was getting dull, the handle slippery.
the sweat from my forehead was stinging my eyes.
but eventually that puppy's head popped right off,
and the kids all cheered and sang!
Ah, these boys is all swelled up. So this was earlier...getting set to trade. Then, woooaaah differences.

I can introduce him to a few new pride obliterating insults.
That's how I know I'm alive.
and I still enjoy the taste of beer.

probably some meta-physics quasi-analytical manner of describing how what I enjoy is merely a behavioral aspect that was introduced into my psyche, which doesn't exist beyond a thought, by some vibrations of Helium atoms which represent the duality of man and god.

Subway, weren't you warned before not to take over gerbick's mind?
It's not funny and it's not clever. Just give it back and we'll pretend this never happened.
