Phantom Flasher...
Broadband in the UK
Hello all,
Just wondering who your providers are and what you think of them?
I've heard BT are shockingly bad and only use USB connections with their home packages, so wouldn't touch them.
I'm on NTL at the minute, which is good, but seems to drop out a lot if I have alot of Linux ISO torrents going, so I have to restart the box.
I have a Wanadoo CD here, but it seems they limit your connection to a few hundred MBs per day, even on their 1MB connection.
Anyone know of the other providers and if they limit the connection at all?

ntl, with no problems.
btw, you do know that ntl has a download cap? go over 1gb a day and they'll kick you off.

Hmmm, I occasionally, well, regularly will go over 1GB a day, streaming videos, flashkit, torrents...
I find if I reset the settopbox, things are good again.
Its just a pain because I'm 3 floors away from it!
Why are Demon good? Care to qualify your remark with some details?
