    Script for scroll

    Hi.

    Because I cant get a scroll in my flash (I use 3dfa ver 3.3) I have been trying to fin a script so that I can make my editbox or formated textbox to scroll.

    Does anyone have a script that works??

    i have a alternative code but don't know if this will work in old versions of 3dfa.

    try this:

    - add editbox and give it the variable name editbox
    - enter multiple lines of text into editbox
    - add a second editbox with variable name test
    - add a script and enter

    test=editbox.maxscroll

    if you start the movie and see a result in the test editbox try to set:

    editbox.scroll = 3

    start the movie. the editbox should start at the 3rd line.

    if this don't work. no chance to do scrollers.

    Just tried this in 3.72 and no go.

    Sorry... You could use a layer and I know I did this once a long time ago with v3.x and make your own scroll buttons that move the x position of the layer
