Thumbnail effect

I'd like to have a row of maybe 10 thumbnail pictures utilize the "orbit circle" effect. I want the thumbnails to react like a word or sentence of text would with the same effect, so that the whole row would bend as it orbits. Everything I try results in the whole stiff row orbiting in one stiff chunk. Any suggestions?

Select all of your images and group as a group. Select the group and apply the effect. Open the effect dialog box (double-click on teh effect from the timeline) and check the author box. Then celect the cascade box and check enable cascade. Play with the various cascade options until you get what you want. You can also play with the snake and motion options to generate additional rotation effects.
