    [complete] FOOKER DOOK!!

    Hi there.

Just finished this basic, light-hearted game about a slaggy duck (I know what you're thinking - NOT ANOTHER ONE!)

I had noticed a gap in the slaggy duck games market so this is what I threw together.

    feed back would be grrrrreat!

I can only wonder why.... First I didn't get the game start on a FireFox, maybe an error on HTML-code. Then I loaded only the swf-file.....

I hate the cursor movement because if I move the cursor outside the play area (something I have to do a lot to get her to the edge of the map) then the heart gets stuck and I loose. Keyboard controls might be a better choice.

Completely agreed on the keyboard controls idea. If the mouse were constrained to the play area it wouldn't be a problem, but it's not (constrained) so it is (a problem).

Everything else about it is fine. It's such a simple, solid idea that it really is a wonder that there aren't bucketloads of omnidirectional snake games. Heh, I might make one right now!

    A few things I found:

I think the score should go up based on ducks collected, at the moment it seems to be a counter that countinues to go up even if you don't do anything, just avoid the mouse cursor

I also agree with ihoss about the cursor movement, might be a little less frustrating if the catch the cursor idea was removed, and the game was made more like a snake-type game using keys, only with randy ducks instead of a snake, obviously.

I also noticed a bug, in that the game doesn't reset itself properly after you finish. The score does not reset, and any powerups you collected carry on as well. Just by replaying the game a few times I got the top score on the leaderboard, as the score would carry over from the last time.
