Odd, now they show up as normal code tags.

I am using OS 10.3 with Safari if that helps.

Still broken - they seem to be adding additional line feeds.

Folks, this is a fairly complex issue and one that originated with the installation of a vBulletin security patch a few weeks back.

The different coloring of the code is not a native feature of the current version of vbulletin that the forum uses today. The colors come from a PHP hack that either John Starkey or one of the developers wrote some time ago, I’m not certain exactly who. We will be upgrading the forums in the near future. Development and testing are in progress now. Unfortunately I do not have a firm date for this to be implemented.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I know how useful they can be when pouring over lines of code and I promise to keep a candle burning for this issue.

Yes the code "tags" work fine, the code tag colors do not. Everything is now in monochromatic.

    Oh,

Thanks for pointing that out, Mike. I didn't catch that before.

Just wanted to mention that the [ as ] tag bugs are a big reason for my recent inactivity here.

Just too irritating to have to post unreadable code in an actionscript-centric forum.

Jbum, every member is important to me but unfortunately with the hardware and vBulletin upgrades taking place right now its difficult to assign a high priority to the color of the text on the boards. Once these other issues are out of the way then I will make some time to see if we can work this one out. I’m sorry it’s making it difficult for you. If you want I can shoot you a note once we have a final decision.
Thanks for your feedback and patients!

Thanks. Keep in mind that it's not the color that is the problem - it's the double-spacing and indenting.
