Your problem is due to the fact that you are not using continuos lines. It looks like you've ended the line and picked back up at the same end point. This is confusing the program, kind of like a 3d program not knowing whether the normal is inside or out, 3dfa does not know where you intend to be the inside of your shape.

the 3dfa preview has nothing to do with reality! the 3dfa proview is absolutely not what flash really does. no idea what rob coded there. it's bull****
but this is not the problem. you must use valid shapes.
yeah, thats bad. hopefully have a good "raise skills effect".
and believe me..that happens in flash MX also if you don't close the shapes correct.
the problem in 3dfa is: if you close a shape with a open line it seems to be closed. but it isn't always. you must draw the last dot over the dot which closes the shape. (hope you understand my bad english).
