Converting mpg movies to quicktime format

I have been tryin to convert mpg movies to quicktime format i.e.(.mov)
I am using FlashMx 2004 version.

What actually happens is that when I try to export movie i.e. (mpg, embedded in flash), or when I try to publish the same, it shows me that the Quicktime installed does not have handler for this type of flash movie.

I have been tryin to get this done for a long time pls help.
Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE even the word states I M POSSIBLE ! Whholaaaa !

Yup that's one of the things I am being bugged gy too... Some day I'll solve it, and believe me I was digging around for it!

People would throw me links, without trying them out (in MX 2004) and without realizing what you (and I) are talking about...

You have to publish for Flash 5, and only what's on the main timeline will be exported, nothing in movie clips...

You can try converting an outputed Flash 7 .swf as an .avi, with some 3rd party software... You might have to export the sound seperately and re-combine it with video in some video edit application...

This latter one does work, I've tried it once myself with success... But it doen't convert sound.
