How to encode/compress video?
I have a tv tuner card for watching/recording video on my computer. It works great, but the filesizes are a little large. A 90 min show I recorded yesterday is over 4gbs, which is fine if i'm gonna watch it once then delete it, but if i want to store it i'd rather have it a bit smaller.
Divx and xvid seem to be the most popular, but how do you encode a video into it (i just have the divx player and an xvid codec)?
