    Javascript Flash interaction

    Hello,

I am trying to scope out what available features in Flash will let me interact with the page's Javascript back and forth. Unfortunately, all the examples I've seen on the web (using fscommand) don't work right on my Mac OSX. I tried several browsers Firefox 1.0, IE 5.2, Safari 1.2.4, Netscape 7.0. with no luck. Flash Player version is 7. Anyone have additional insight into this problem? Are there any work arounds?

    Thanks in advance!

    Some useful information:

I'm pretty sure Safari doesn't support fscommand/javascript communication either I'm afraid.

I've figured I can send message from Flash to javascript using the getURL command in Flash and sending input like "javascript:myFunction());". This seems to work fine in Firefox and Safari on Mac OSX.

    Thanks for your input, SJT!
