Does anybody know how to turn the childlock off on a Bosch Logixx 1400 Express?
Lets not get into detail here, but somebody, perhaps me, might have turned on the child lock on my washing machine after it had finished. That somebody, possibly me, now can't get to my duvet and bed-sheets inside. That somebody, might have also started a second cycle in a vain attempt to unlock it and open the door.
So, while it's currently on another cycle in the hope that it will unlock the door when it finishes, has anybody got any better ideas?

It's Comcastic!
did you already try unplugging it and plugging it back in? I've never heard of a child lock on a washing machine.. sounds like a waste of engineering to me.

I was saving that as a back-up plan if it doesn't unlock when the cycle has finished. Should be done soon.
There's no kids in this house, so I don't know how annoying a washing machine is that doesn't have a child lock.

Ha ha ha ha.
It finished and then the door unlocked and the little menu thing unlocked so I could turn the child lock off.
And that's the most exciting thing that happened today.

Most, but not all have a manual opening device located somewhere near the strainer or any other access opening on the Machine. Cannot be more exact as mine 's a Miele.

Turning off the child lock
Hi,
Just for furture reference, if you press and hold the start button for five seconds the "feature" should disable.
Hope this helps
