    quick one about targeting

    Hi all,

    I have a little problem which is basically to do with i dont know the right code to do what i want to do.

    k i have had working a really wide picture which scrolls to the left or right depending on the mouse position on the screen.

    it worked perfectly unitl i introduced a preloader. the way my preloader works is in scene one and then loads up the movie wjich is situated in scene 2.

    when i created the movie i made it in scene 1 and thats where the scrolling picture worked fine. however when i moved the frames across to scene 2 to put in the preoader it stopped working.

    the code i used to point to the movie in scene 1 is
    setProperty("photo", _x, xphoto);

    I dont see why it doesnt work anymore and is really getting me flustered.
    an help or advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
    to see the movie here is the link.

    its the grey pics that are at the top that should be scrolling and they are contained in the movie called "photo"

    thnaks for any help

    its okay now ive managed to solve it.
    turned out that i had to put the MC into the same layer.
    which doesnt make much sense. i thought it only had to be in the same frame which it was.
    so now ive put the MC into the exact same frame and layer and it seems rto work okay with that.

    if any1 could explain that that would be great.
