    Why is my swf not center in MC

    loadMovie("pic0.swf","pics1");

    this works fine, but when the swf is loaded in to the blank mc its not centered.

    The MC is just a border with no fill. What am I doing wrong???

    that's because when you load an external swf or jepg into a movieclip, it anchors from the top left corner. you're not actually doing anything wrong; this is the way flash does it.

    The Movie Clip that is loading the swf ...

    The Movie Clip that is loading the swf needs to have the "center crosshair" in the upper left hand corner. edit the movie clip and move it and it should work just fine.
