Interactive text to speech in flash

Hi,
Im looking for an interactive text to speech actionscript\plugin\technology for flash. I would like to create a flash file with a textbox, and a character will say the text that site visitors wrote in it. Here's an example (made with java though)
I only know of one company that offers this- Sitepal.com . Are there anymore?

Does anyone know of any Open Source code out there for using with Flash to generate Text To Speech?

Flash has no speech synthesizer. You would need to use a server side application with a speech synthesizer that sends out a mp3 stream for Flash to play.

There are services like www.sitepal.com that use this technology but I am not sure how that would work in the context of your application.

so are there any open source software apps that are out there? i need something that i can run on my local server since i cant make external web calls.
