Flash lite for sony p900

I have installed flash lite player on my p900 and it is working ok. i have managed to do simple animationand transfer them to the phone, but i am not sure about how to start using actionscript with it. I know i have to use a cut down version of actionscript but dont really know where to start cant seem to find any tutorials for flash lite that dont expect me to be an actionscript god!!! any advice about how to go about learning.
etc etc....

i do know a little as2 not much tho.
using Macromedia studio mx2004
with flash professional.

I have looked the macromedia site , but cant seem to find any help for the p900. the problem is that you can only open the flash player when the phones flip is open and you are using the soft input panel, but the S.I.P. doesn't seem to work on any of the flash elements (buttons, fields) animation works fine but no way of interacting.

have you tried placing a graphical button on screen and using the on(press) event to execute ActionScript from a stylus tap on the button? (use stylus instead of phone key presses)
