Loading Scrollable Text from .txt document

I was wondering how you could have scrollable text in a flash movie, which is updated through a text document. I've read some tutorials on setting up a scrollable text box in flash, and a tutorial on updating a flash movie through a text document, but the difference in the two is one is static, and one is dynamic. How can these 2 things be combined?
