Text will not show in a Button when it is set to "rotate"
Is it normal for the text to disappear when the button is rotated. It shows up rotated in the "Preview" only. I am warned not to depend on preview.

Rick

Hi Rick
I have tried put a edit box into a layer but text disappear when button start rotate.
So i tried another way, using element text.
I did not try with html but have use element html in pseudo 3d animations (star wars animation) and worked well, probably can happen the same here.
Please watch attached file
Cheers

Rui - how are you making this animate?
I do not see how are you making these objects animate.
I do understand how using the "Elements Has Properties" can allow the text to rotate without disappearing. I will try this.
I am trying to create a menu button (with text) which is rotated about 12 degrees. Your sample will not help for the nenu button need.
Thank you for the file download but my problem is still outstanding.

Hi Rick
Please use element "Text" into a button.
Cheers
Rui
Edit:
On this attached file edit button, scroll down and click "+Position" and watch "Rotation 12 degrees".
On 1st file, for animation, edit button, scroll down and click "Position and Velocity", watch "Rotational Velocity".

Rui,
Thank you for your persistance in getting me to understand the use of the text element into a menu button to display rotated text.
What is happening is that all of the values are reset back to "0" in your movies. This is why I caould not see what the values were in the other movie you had. When I open up your file the rotation and velocity are set to '0" So I guess 3DFA returns all values to "0" for these particular setting.
I got everything to work now and appreciate your help - problem solved!
If you ever need me to critique your work - I am here.
Regards,
Rick
