dude, that's pretty cool! How'd you do it? can you mass-produce them now? hehe! I'm intrigued by toy production... definitely looks good for a first! I so dig the colors!

you should rig it so if you click on the buttons oin top the screen has blinky lights that go on or something. hehe... it would make a great thing to put on top of a computer or a monitor, that's for sure!

Haha no I can't mass produce them now
It was a toy created by a graffit artist called MAD and I've re-painted it and stuck on an arial to make a custom toy. It's basically using a toy as a canvas rather than paper or an actual canvas. People do customs of all sorts of vinyl toys, check out the kidrobot.com and myplasticheart.com forums to see some of the customs people do, some are amazing!
This figure is only 5" tall but there a show in LA where over 50 artists from all different backgrounds have made customs of 20" one which I'm really looking forward to seeing the pictures of. I'll post a link when they put the pics up

These toys fascinate me, I hope to get my own toys made soon, I'm attempting to save up some money by making and selling customs

As for rigging it up with lights, that would be awesome! But sadly I'm not very good with electrics. And I'm glad you like the colours, they seem to be a good choice as other peple have said that too, yay!

    I like the screen

are the vinyl toys those that you have to paint? or do you sculpt them?
in other words, is it like the airplanes that you have to assemble and then paint?
It is a shame that colors have names

Niether. The're toys and figures designed by various artists and produced in limited runs of 500-2000 worldwide. Though many people like to paint them up in their own designs, some of the toys were designed so that people could do this, such as Dunny and Qees.

Here's and explaination of the toys:

They don't talk about customs but thats just something other artists do
