Aldarn, thank you for your patients. We have been working on this for a couple weeks now however everything should be working again as of this morning. Please let me know if you continue to experience problems. Also, if you can, please post links to anything that doesn’t appear to be working properly.

    Thanks again.

Ok the tutorial bug still doesnt seem to be fixed, for example the SWF on this page just shows as a black background:

    http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Ga...u-81/index.php

Yet, in my SWF cache it works fine. Any ideas?

Thank you Frets. Aldarn, perhaps you can try it from another machine. Most likely its a plug-in or cache issue. Let me know.
    Thanks.

Ok, this computer is only 2 months old so maybe thats the problem. I'll try it on one of my other computers. Thanx for the help .

    P.s. i don't think its a cache issue.

Hey, im on at my school library. The tutorials DO NOT load here either, and they do not work on any of my four computers at home. I think this is a big problem you need to fix as soon as possible.

    Thanx.

Aldarn, dont feel bad. It doesn't work for me either. However, if you can see it in the cache does it matter?

School library? are they blocking the content? Can you verify what version of flash is installed on the computers?

Omega - Not everyone knows how to see their cache. Its also annoying to have to go into it, there is no reason why it should not work on the page.

Frets - Flash 7 of course. All the other swf's on the page load fine apart from the tutorials.

FOR ANYONE WHO DOESNT KNOW HO TO VIEW THEIR CACHE.
Enter Internet Explorer, or my Computer. Put in the address bar:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\NAME OF FILE.swf

Thats for most computers, if it doesnt work replace "Owner" with your login on the computer. Also, if you dont know the .swf's name, just put:C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
and it will take you to a huge folder.

I'm also having the same problem with .swf files not loading for the tutorials. The banners and everything else on the site load fine, it's just the tutorials not loading.

I have latest version of Flash plugin and I'm also using latest version of FireFox and IE on WinXP SP2.

Almost all of the tuts are not working, I would guess about 90% of them. Here is a few links to ones that are not working for me.

The one posted earlier in this thread here works now tho.

Every tutorial... 90%... YIKES, are you guys joking me?

Besides what you've listed here I can't find any that aren’t working and I've gone over at least 100 of them in the past couple hours so again, if you find one, please post it here so I can fix it.

Thank you for your help with locating these issues, I really appreciate it

I am afraid im not joking. The earlier one still doesn't work for me. I have all the latest upgrades yada yada... im not sure what the problem is but it could be due to some kind of anti-direct linking you have? I know of one site which installed an anti-direct linking script and i couldn't view any of the images, maybe this is something similar... otherwise i don't know.

I could suggest to you a few new methods though? You could add a link which opens the .swf's in a new pop-up window (like the ones on newgrounds), maybe this would help? I don't know.

    Thanx, Aldarn.
