    pre install flash player ?

    hi all
    i want script in my website for that user who have no flash plugins to install in there machine without prompting any msg of installation.just my movie will show them flash is installing but behind this there will be setup of flash player ??? any help?

    Umm, you can't have the flash player open saying that the flash player is installing if there is no flash player to be playing it.

    in dreamweaver, if you put a swf into your site a link is automatically added, so that if you haveny got a flash plugin then it gives you a link where you can downloaded.

    I know but, shakreez mentioned a flash movie playing while it was downloading. That, is impossible.

    that i know as you cant install something before it is dowloaded fully

    is any code?

    do u know any code whether javascript that will sniff my browser if there is no flash plugins then my website will be re-directed to macromedia website ??? for downloading flash plugins ????? but user should not click anylink this should be autometic.

    i cant remember how to do it as i havent done any webpage making in a while now,
    but if you can find a tutorial on redirecting the you could probably jiggle the code around a bit.
