    Copy and Paste resume

Every time I copy and paste my resume in a little text box - it looks like crap. Is there a better way of doing this?

Thanks for your time and help.

I always disliked sending resumes that way. Obviously your formatting is not going to be correct.

If you know the form accepts HTML code, I would look at the size of the form (if it's an HTML page that the form is on, look at the code and determine the size of the text entry box.)
Then set up the HTML yourself in another program, or Notepad, and add bullets, line breaks, etc. so you can get it in some sort of format you're happy with.

The only catch is, you don't know how they will view it, or even if the HTML will format it when they see it.
To that extent, I wouldn't worry about working there anyways, if they're technological enough to request resumes by web forms, yet too inept to allow HTML, well, I wouldn't want to work there myself.

you might want to just send a brief text introduction with a link to your resume online...

Keep an ASCII copy of your resume in a text file.

And make sure your last name is not your screenname (i.e. Mr. Spermpit)
