    yea, i can definitely dig that... i just have a hard time buying into the whole growling beast from hell type vocals... i am way more into old-school Bruce Dickinson / Rob Halford operatic vocals...

    The music totally rocks though.

    I like that this post is right under "Dual Core?" right now... when i saw that i was like.. Dual Core? is that a new type of music?

    Yeah they actually do some of the operatic stuff too, but its mostly scream. I can take any amount of both.

    just got back from seeing Drowning Pool... it was pretty good... the opening act was some chicks from NY called SLUNT.

    haha... sorry, but it's kinda funny... i don't know why... my secret death metal vocal passion... but that's cool. Doesn't it hurt? I know it hurts me to listen to, i mean like feeling the singers vocal chords pain.. i know alot of those guys really stretch it and have to vomit and stuff...

    i think it would be fun to collaborate and write death metal type lyrics... some of that stuff is so over the top and imaginative...

    now i gotta get some kinda FlashKit band together to hear this...

    yah its silly. I hate bad metal. Death metal lyrics are anything but imaginative, at least the stuff I've read (cause you cant understand half the songs).

    I've actually been singing for over 10 years, I'm an abnormally angry person, so I guess it's just how I keep my demons at bay.

    Yeah it doesnt hurt so much as make you choke. But the only way to get past it is to push while your vocal coords are fatigued (not too much or you'll damage em for good). It's like tennis practice with a flat tennis ball. By the time it heals a few times it doesnt hurt at all.

    death metal is more about instrumentation than lyrics... just listen to the solo's!
    anyone who can actually understand or wants to the lyrics of cannibal corpse has something wrong with them...
