Latin letters not displaying in output

I have copy and pasted the Letter C with a Cedilla (ç) into my xml doc, and when its output is displayed, all that is present is a square...

Does anybody now of how I can get the Cedilla displayed in the text area, rather than the square???

Make sure the font you are using supports the character and that it is part of the ASCII character set if you are saving it as 8 bit text.
