FPS - how can i controll it

Can i use some AS to find yout, which FPS has the played SWF?
trace("SWF FPS is"+ )

If i load external SWF (40FPS) to main SWF (12FPS), which SWF become mc in external SWF after loading in main SWF?

Q1. Dunno never tried it.
Q2. The main movie or base swf has control over the FPS rate.
So your external.swf although built at 40 FPS will play at the 12 inherited from main.swf
Except of course for mx04 FLVs which retain their own frame rates
P.S.
Wouldn't life be easy if Keyboards had a "Make It So" button?
It could sit next to the "Any" key!!
