Discovering the wonders of the internet: Winamp Radio

Amazing, I didn't know there was more in the internet than just porn and flashkit.

I though internet radios were garbage, so I never really tried listening to any, but today I was just listening to the ones listed in winamp.com and they got some pretty cool ones.

Specially, I've been laughing all day with this comedy stations they got there (for the ones interested this is the link: http://www.shoutcast.com/newwaradio.phtml?genre=Comedy )

Haha, this sounds like spam, doesn't it?

Anyway, so you guys listen to any internet radio stations?

I use the streams in media player (local radio stations)

and I use www.launch.yahoo.com quite often as well. I like being able to skip songs.

A guy a work with took his Stereo out of the office, so i'm thinking of just grabbing some cheap speakers and running a shoutcast server. At least it won't be the same everyday since there is so much of them

It's now 2017, 12 years ago internet radio was just getting started! I've been using iHeart radio lately. More licenses than pandora.

I was sad to see winamp had been discontinued. I had been using it since before Napster. My first MP3 player. For radio stations, digitally imported is really good if you like electronic music. I paid for the premium version for years. It's worth the cost.
