Publishing Settings for Audio - Stereo to Mono

    Hi All-

I have a narration track that I have imported into flash, and unfortunately the volume on the left channel is much higher than the volume on the right channel. The end result is that when the swf plays, the voice can only be heard out of the left speaker and not the right.

I would like to take what is in the left channel and covert that to mono, with the final movie having the same volume level from both speakers.

I have tried the "convert stereo to mono" checkbox in the publish settings, but that doesnt seem to do anything for some reason.

Does anyone know what I should be doing with the settings to get the desired result?

Remixing the audio track before import isnt an option due to time constraints and the fact that the sound file was chopped up and timed out.

    Thanks in advace,

    Todd

Once it's on the timeline, use the Edit tool in Properties. It may look simple and lame, but that little thing can do a lot, including lowering the volume of one side. Play with it.
