I'd say graphic mark number 1, the version with the red rounded square and the inset tortoise. There are several reasons to do this, the main one being that it doesn't necesarily look like a turtle at first sight. It invites one to look at the logo for a longer amount of time, thus providing more recognizability. Also, the graphic mark #2 looks cliché and a bit like a Microsoft Word clipart.

For the type treatment, version 5 is definately the best. All the other fonts look bad -- be it too extended, too condensed, too light, or just too damn ugly. The only font works good is font 5, mainly because in combination with the graphic mark, there is an equilibrium in weight, and because the font's square characters (o, e, s) fit well with the graphic mark.

I really appreciate all the feedback, keep it coming ļ

I personally was leaning towards logo set #1 because I liked the 3d look; I was surprised to see so many people like #2.

Unfortunately not many said why they liked, or what they dislike other then WOUTER999 (thank you wouter999)

Thank you all for your time and feedback, I will continue to check back to see if there is any new comment posted.

Number 1-1 or 1-2. All the those on the right (#2) suggest a road sign (beware of crossing tortoises). I am not that keen on the tortoise image period, it suggests slow. If one is going to use an image with slow connectations, then one needs softer peaceful colors. Looking at these in red, I think roadkill.

I like the first logo of logo set 2, it simpler and suits the red/white theme best.

However, i think on rigurous studying i will have to say i prefer the same as wouter999 for the same reasons. And i see what you mean about the 3D look, it will look cool to present 3D in a very flat colour scheme like that.

As for text i like 2 and 7 best i think they are the best weight (medium-ish) and they have that nice circular feel to them to match the logo.

Could you not use a typographic treatment, like say version 7, and use the graphic of a tortoise shell viewed from above for one of the "o"'s.

I personally find the illustrations a bit old fashioned. Theres something a bit Bauhaus about them, particularly version 2

#1 for graphic, although I think it lacks punch.
    #7 for the text

What fonts are you using for items #2 and #5? Between the two I'm not sure which I like more.
