What's the difference between "Guided Mode" and "Enhanced Mode" while replying (was that there in the old version)?

Just Messing Wtih the color thing

There are definately many pluses to this new design (drop down menus, quick reply, etc) but as others have said, the design needs to be tweaked a little, and the users online needs to be back on top. Other than that, it's pretty nice and im sure it wont take that long to get used to.
Besides, change is good. It keeps things fresh.

I don't mind it it'll take a bit of getting used to but its pretty cool actually. It has alot more functionality then the old one and like dbarbarian said it keeps this board fresh and will probly attract a larger audience now that its nicer.

I don't like it. The best forum I've seen so far is the Newgrounds forum. Everything is perfect. Well designed website.
I have like, a gazillion posts on my other account.

Well, until they fix the problem with images/buttons/smilies not loading, I cant say much about the design. Currently I have to turn off all the images so I can at least browse the board.

The usernames in the posts are too big.

What's this Flash ad everyone's talking about ?

Doesn't everyone run adBlock with Firefox ? ( If not, you really, really should ).

Nice to see so many Gemini's in this thread Don't know about you guys but I'm actually in the middle of having wild mood swings about my up-coming birthday, really badly actually.

    Squize.

If you use adBlock, you're sapping away at Flash Kit's potential profits!

It aint bad but I really hate the fact that all the posts start so far down page, and for god sake move the users online back to the top of the page.

Ive only just figured where the user cp has gone.

I dont likw the new smileys, bit tacky, when the hell is this one going to come in handy , not sure about you guys but I dont think im ever going to call for a forum grouphug, bit gay really. Glad they kept , really comes in handy for when newbs post silly questions.

I pity the fool who made these smileys.

"If you use adBlock, you're sapping away at Flash Kit's potential profits!"

You're so right, I feel ashamed. But on the other hand, every single person posting on FK, either here or in the movies / tuts section, does actualy provide around 99% of the total content of Flash Kit, so we should all get a share really

Kakihara group hug has been around for ages, nice to see a bit of political correctness here though

    Squize.

    Halleluia (sp??)

Yours truly has found a way of getting that stupid ad to disappear, and not leave an ugly white gap like adBlock does...in two easy steps

(Only works for firefox) - Get GreaseMonkey: http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/

then install: http://docs.g-blog.net/code/greasemo...frames.user.js and in the included pages add: http://flashkit.com/board/* and http://www.flashkit.com/board/*

    and youve done it.

    see attachment for result

[EDIT] Some other guy on Flashkit, forgot the name, has come up with this greasemonkey script to change the bg colours: http://digitalrgb.com/projects/scrip...ashkit.user.js -havent tried it out yet though[/EDIT]

Augh! It makes your screen go all blurry!

    ...

Oh no wait, it's a .jpg.

Well, in that case... it makes the fonts go all blocky!

    ...

Sorry, my mistake. You're using Windows.

Wooh, I just noticed now that if you roll your mouse over the threads in the forum, you get to see the first 15 words or so...

    Cool!

Yeah, that flash add is annoying...

Edit: June 6th is my birthday!

    The Flashkit Cult lives on!

Hi everyone - been a while since I've been round 'ere!

I have to say, these new looks were quite a suprise! I miss the simplicity of the old board, but I guess some new cool features are worth it, although I've not explored much. But I have just spied configurable notification emails - I like it

Kakihara - what about the smileys? They look the same as they've always been to me

I think I might come back for a while...
