Hi guys,
I just thought I should let everyone know that it IS completely possible to do 3-D scenes in Photoshop. I myself had doubts as to whether it could be done (which is why I first posted here asking about making 3D scenes) but I went ahead and tried it out anyways. All it takes to make ANY 3D scene is this:
1. Patience
2. Lots of distortion of the image you want to look like it's 3D
this is what the final project ended up looking like so it is very possible to do this kind of stuff in PS
Just thought this would be useful.

hehe yes obviously its possible to make 3d scenes in photoshop don't know why people would think otherwise but hell i dont know what other people think!
You could do that image a bit better for the rainbow road.. i dont know how you distorted the rainbow but it would have been far easier and better done if you'd made the rainbow first and then used edit -> transform -> distort or edit-> transform-> perspective
the perspective tool is VERY useful for getting stuff to look 3d in ps
also for more info on people who make 3d pics in ps have a look at www.thegnomonworkshop.com .. amazing dvds from there by great artists
