Blasted malfunctioning buttons!

Hi,

I've got a bit of a problem with a button--one of its actions is malfunctioning.

Begin Tell Target ("/MC)
Go to and Play (1)
End Tell Target

The first time I press the button, it works normally. When I press it again, MC goes to frame 1 and stops. Then I press it a third time, and it works fine. It alternates between working correctly and then stopping instead of playing.

This isn't the first time this has happened to me, either--the last project I did had a Tell Target, Go to and Play, and the same problem occurred.

Anyone know why it's happening, or how to fix it?

Do you have a stop action in frame one or is it a movie clip that constantly loops?
