    Importing "quality" video?

    Hi!
I imported some video (.avi format) into flash. I used the auto settings for the DSL/Cable 786kbps but the clarity is just terrible. Everytime there is ANY movement at all it gets REALLY bad. Is there anything else I can do without increasing the file size exponenially?

    Thanks in advance!
    Thanks!

    sorenson squeeze is the answer!
it costs money but its worth it! its a compression program that exports your avi (or whatever) to a swf or flv (both flash compatible video files).
it makes your files tonnes smaller while still retaining all the quality. its amazing.
you can download a trial version at sorensonmedia. scroll down til you see Sorenson Squeeze 4 for Macromedia Flash MX.
try it. youll like it. if not love it.

also if you can try and get the best source files possible. the better the quality of the video you put into sorenson the nicer it will come out.
i found .avi particularly bad but .movs worked better.
