Here is the link to show you.
The text on the right. Is a default..

In my movie it's different. It looks like the text on the left, the
    "June 2005"

    ??????
    WTF?

you have to embed the font into your file.
use the dropdown in the library to create a new font and give it a new name and properties etc.
select the new library item and use the library drop down to set the linkage of the font.
in the linkage dialogue box select export for action script and give it a name.
now when you export your movie and test it on a computer that doesnt have that same font installed it should still show up.

hmm i see what you mean.
select your dynamic text box and check that in the properties that the right font is selected. your embedded font should be in the font list with a * next to it. make sure that one is selected otherwise it wont know to reference the embedded font.

yeah, I tried that...it was correct.
I am going to change it back for now until I figure it out.

I got to leave the office, so must put the page back to the normal...

weird, anything else I can try?

i just looked again and its in helvetica, which at least looks better then times.
the only other thing i can think of is if your text is loaded in via html you could try specifying the font in the html.
