    website page sizes

    Hi

    Im trying to create a few web sites on the net and
    on TV(not interactive), but I cant seem to get the right
    page sizes, the TVs are both wide screen and normal.
    But it Keeps on cutting the edges of.

    Can any one let me know the right page sizes for the
    web and both TV sizes. Also the frame rates as the
    web will prob be different to the TVs.

    well, if you mean you're creatng a flash movie/animiation for TV, then i think i can help with that part. The frame rate for any TV application, to be with NTSC standards, which is rounded to 30 frames per second (technically 29.97). TV widths are expressed as a ratio. the "standard" format is 4:3, meaning that for every 4 units wide the picture is, it's 3 units tall (for instance, 400X300). Wide screen format is 16:9, again, 16 units wide for every 9 units tall, or, for example, 1600x900.

    thanks, that helps.

    do you know about the colours that need to
    be changed for tv use or can you just use the
    duller ones flash provide?

    Using anything under 100 unit lumens should keep you safe for TV, but yes, in general, just use the duller colors, and if you can, avoid reds (reds, like blood, BLEED)
