5 days it took..

(I made a few changes and would like some comments)

5 days it took to make this school site. Now if they could just give me some content to put in it. I tried a few new things with this one but at the same time I did a lot of my old stuff. If I could only get the load time down. Anyway, tell me what you think.

I like the site. It took a bit to load but that is probably my internets falt. I liked it alot, as far as suggestions go I have only one.... I don't see the pont of there being a google search button on the site, it doesn't really add anything....you want your visitors to know where to look first when they get on the page...not lost or they won't stay. So, my suggestion is get rid of the google bar...but w/e. Other than that it really is a nice site. Keep up the good work.

I really would like to thank yall for the comments and I think yall are right about the google search bar... do you think there is another way I could present it so as not to take away from the look of the site? If not I think I will chump (get rid of) the bar.

I have to agree with you there. I guess I was trying to get it all in one eye shot insted of having the visitor click every time they wanted to see something. I think the next time I design a site like this I will space everything out more and hide more of the content but as of now they like what I have done so I am going to stick with the design and layout thats up now. Maybe in the near future when I update the site I will change a few things. I would really like to thank you for the feed back.

I hate it when people dont use the logical part of their brains.
"hmm people have posted comments, yet it doesnt load for me, therefore there is a problem at my end"

The site is nice, but i think the moveable objects are irrelevant dont bring anything extra.

Hey thanks for the comments. I added the moveable stuff because some folks said the site looked a bit cramped so I was hoping that by being able to move stuff around it would do something about the cramped look. What you think? You think I should have left it alone and went with the none moveable stuff? I could easily go back to the way I had it before. Once again thanks for the comment.

it's a littel to heavy and I think there may be a bug or two,
but that comes with hard work like that so keep it up

Hey thanks for the comment. I have been trying to get all the bugs. What bugs did you find because I am sure I am not seeing all of them.. and what do you think I should tone down; the graphics or the actionscript?

it's in the top left. it's a menu over a menu ( or it looks like that)
the top level menu comes from the top left and then over the top of another add somthing menu

ow it's dragable....thats just a littel too much stuf at once.
it makes for a heavy site file. and the intro loader is nice but can spook people
with looken at cookies

Oh ok I see what you are saying now. Well I did it like that because I wanted the moveable menu to stick out; by making it look out of place would force the visitor to try to move it. I think that is like a natural reaction when we see something that looks out of place. Although, I know that some people will never actually think to more it; I took a chance in hopes that most people would.

Let me ask you this? say if I pushed the whole top banner up making it a bit smaller then make a plce for the moveable menu to sit; kinda like a docking station, would that help any?

Hey, thanks for all the feed back. The loader is just really something to take the visitors mind off the load time. I just like to give them something to read and to help them understand why its taking a little longer to load than the normal site. I think I get what you are saying. You are saying that it might scare the visitor for them to see that site has information about their computer?

I see alot of space on the sides of the site look like 100 width x 800 height pixels you sould take some of that you could shift the site to one side or the other and get like 200 width thats alot of space

or you could make the menu stop to the far top right that looks ok. that way if people dont think to move the menu, its still ok to look at and use
