    Code for buttons to open files in html frames?

    My problem is simple I think, but I can't find the right solution:

    I made a button in Flash. I imported that button (.swf) in a html file with 2 frames.
    The button is in frame 'left'. When I click the button, I want the file that it is linked to (named: 'green.html'), to open in the frame named 'right'. But I don't know the right code to follow the 'green.html' code between the brackets. The code in the button I already have (but that opens the file in the same frame as the button) is:

    on (release) {
    getURL('green.html');
    }

    you forgot the target which is the name of the frame:

    getURL("link","target");

    I tried that already and it didn't work. But because of your hint I tried it again and now it did work, so I think I didn't use the right notation.

    Thanks

    Any idea why

    on(release)
    {
    getURL("index.html","target");
    }

    doesnt work for me? Oddly enough it seems to be ok on my pc, but not on my mac. I'm sure this isnt a platform issue!!
    I also tried "blank" instead of "target"...It just opens the browser and does nothing.

    Other sites show that the problem is with Firefox. The url opens fine in IE on mac. I'll be damned if I'm going to use IE on my mac tho .

    I had a similar problem with firefox and "_blank" target on a PC in an avatar chat I created. It would open it in the same window no matter what I do but not for everyone.
