    Need help with CSS and browser check

    Sorry for writing this here, I know it's not the right place for this but I've searched everywhere with google to try and find a solution to my problem and have come up empty handed.
    Anyways, what I'm trying to do is do a browsercheck to switch between CSS files depending on whether the user is using firefox or IE.
    I'm trying out tableless design for the first time and I'm having a huge problem with one of my background which stretches along with the text in IE or is compressed in firefox. I need to use one CSS for firefox and one for IE. I have completely forgotten how the browsercheck thing works. If anyone here can tell me how to do this then I would highly appreciate it.

    Thanks.

    Nevermind. I figured out a better way to do it.
    Incidentally. If anyone else is having problems with the way IE parces CSS as opposed to FF then you can use a special command to create a duplicate of the tab adding * html in front of it.

    for instance:

    #mainText {
    blablabla this parces correctly in firefox
    }

    * html #mainText {
    blablabla this parces only in IE.
    }

    Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else was having problems with this.
