    Cool, I vote for preloading all at the start as well. I have an XML document like this:
    code:

    <transitions size="800x600" bg="0xFFFFFF" framerate="30">
    <trans file="transitions_v1.swf" bg="0x000000" author="flashl!ght" pause="500"/>
    <trans file="transitions_v2_admedia.swf" bg="0x583A70" author="admedia" pause="250"/>
    <trans file="transitions_v3_dricciotti.swf" bg="0xA20909" author="Dricciotti" pause="250"/>
    <trans file="transitions_v4_jaquan.swf" bg="0x0000A1" author="jAQUAN" pause="250"/>
    <trans file="transitions_v5.swf" bg="0xFF6600" author="flashl!ght" pause="0"/>
    <trans file="transitions_v6_admedia.swf" bg="0x80543A" author="admedia" pause="0"/>
    </transitions>

    ok, that's cool too xml / text...
    one thing... I haven't worked with xml in flash, so you guys are on your own this way ....

    You can just rename the files in the xml to their actual filenames, no? so we don't have to rename everything...

    Exactly. The 'file' can be whatever we want. I have downloaded all the vollies so far and named them as shown above, but that can be changed to whatever, it doesn't matter.

    I have nothing in mind to use the 'author' as of yet, but figured I should stick that in there. And 'pause' adds a slight pause(14th to 1/2 second) between some of vollies, but we can work with that.

    PS - I suggest learning XML in Flash, it's not complicated and gives you alot more power than a TXT file Here's your first tip: you need to use XML.ignoreWhite=true for anything to work

    oooh... nicely done Dricotti, I like the minimal, yet interactive style, reminds me of flashlights initial volley, stylwise...

    Thanks for the tip flashl!ght! Yea, I just haven't had a real-world need yet for XML handling in Flash, but yea, as I get more into using dynamic loads I am sure I will appreciate the extra power.

    so adam, your up with the GREEN #66CC00 dude.

    Thanks jAQUAN. Don't forget to edit the size(use edit multiple frames to resize entire document including all keyframes), and use nextTransition() at the end.

    Ad - I have just done this. I think you may have problems with the file you have. n00b is the latest and greatest.
