Site check - my first commercial Flash site

    Hi all,

This is my first commercial flash site and would greatly appreciate your input into the design and functionality of the site.

At the moment I'm still tinkering with the mail form, and the portfolio page will be completed as and when but the site design is pretty well complete.

Hope you like it and look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Im not so positive about it Im afraid.

There is not much of a design there, and with no content at all ( exept the usual bragging text mumbo jumbo on sites like this ), its hard to say anything.

I think the bright red is to bright red.

The scrollbar is to far from the text in my opinion. I found it by accident.

Based on the looks of the site I would not hire them. How come they did not do the site themselves. Or maybe its your own site?

The site does not reflect "creative ideas and structures " in my eyes.

Thanks for your comments...I think .

Which part of the web site is too red? All of it or just the logo?

I agree with you that the scrollbar is a little too hidden but I wanted to get away from just a bog standard scroll bar that you find so often.

Maybe I should try and move it to a more prominant place or try and make it larger...I'll mull it over or get a general consensus.

This is my first flash site so I'm learning all the time.

I meant the red lines around the site.

On the positive side I always enjoy buttons with rollOut animation and also scrolling text with easing.

As it is your first attempt you will have a joyful journey exploring all the zillion possibilities it gives. Good luck.

Is it worth toning town the red to a darker shade or to dispense with some of the red altogether?

    Thanks Swashbuckler
