    Here's one for you...

Loudon Wainwright III - - So Damn Happy [live] - Heaven

And no Buckley! There are a few Buckley songs you could fit in there...

    Garcia's 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door' over Dylan's!?

    Pffffffffffffffffffffft I give up

My all time favorite must be Better Man, probably for its relevance.

keep in mind, i'm only using what's already IN my collection.
i would gladly take the dylan version (email me? ).
the garcia version is total crap (that's why it's last).

    plus, i don't even own any dylan...i'm 32, not 62

Hmmmmmm... it's ahrd to cover 45+ albums in one purchase, The Essential Bob Dylan is a good 2cd set covering his whole career...

Bringing It All Back Home is his best album IMO

they say that back in the day you were either a stones, dylan, or beatles fan....
dylan definitely would have been third for me.
however, you can't underestimate his importance to the pantheon (although, third in that list again).

    Each to his own...

He wasn't quite as mainstream as the Stones or Beatles, but more talented in the grand scheme of things, greatest songwriter ever

I never did understand the whole 'your either Stones or Beatles...'. I guess it was because those were basically your 2 choices if you were mainstream back then.

I like Stones, Beatles, Dylan, Elvis and Chuck Berry .

    * waits for iaskwhy to set us straight
