    Text Boxes, HTML, and all that goodness!

    Is it possable to have a dynamic text box load a html file as it's input? I know that there is an option to "render text as html".

    Basically, i want to make a flash document that can read a HTML file and display it in a pane of some sort.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Can't get either tutorial to work. My dynamic text box always loads in as blank. Idk what's going wrong, let me set up my situation.

    I have a movie clip (named "windowPane") that contains the dynamic text box called "Field1" (the variable for this D.Text Box is "inputTxt"). Now, the goal is to have this MC display a different HTML document when the user clicks the corrisponding button. At the moment, each button will send the MC to a different frame where, a new HTML would be loaded and displayed.

    This is the code on each of the frames.
    Code:
    myLoadVar = new LoadVars ();
    LoadVar.load("News.txt");

    //Load the HTML
    _root.windowPane.Field1.htmlText=myLoadVar.inputTxt;
    Now, News.txt is the file to be displayed. At the moment it reads like this:

    Code:
    inputTxt=Site News&
    As I said prior, this code and this text document yield no results in the Field1 text box.
