    Cheapest 1GB ram?

I'm looking for another gig of ram... DDR 400...

Where do you lot shop? I've been to ebuyer, dabs, scan, ocuk, kingston and crucial...

    They are all around £70...

Anywhere cheaper? Theres some on Ebay for £30, but thats probably a scam...

Are you kidding me? 1GIG of ram for $70(loosly converted)??? I just spent $60 on 256MB 6 months back. I'm not a hardware guy, but would 1GIG of Ram work with a PentiumIII 933Mhz processer? Honestly, don't laugh, i'd like to know.

if 70 dollars is around 70 pounds i want to trade some dollars with you (for pounds)

a pounds is about 1.6 dollar orso? so that would amount to about 110$ wich is alot more then your conversion.

Don't buy cheap RAM, that's all I have to say, somewhere like crucial is worth the price.

    ps. 70 quid = 125 dollars

You are probably not using PC3200 (DDR400) Ram...you are probably using older PC133 Ram, which is more expensive.

Check your mobo documentation. I would say with 99% certainty that no is the answer. If you just bought RAM, then you already KNOW what kind it takes, no?!?

LEARN TO READ!!!! £70!!! Not your crazy cheapo currency!

I'll check whats in there... mobo specifies ddr 400 so thats what I think is in at the mo...

Just thought there might be a cheap way for a speed boost

I've got a 3GB machine at work and its amazingly quick!
