Naturally i would be upset if i was american. How can a country which the united states helped so much turn its back on it and spy on it? Wierd!! This shows you that those people in power are very un-patriotic and thus the government's policy is substantially dictated by what Ariel Sharon says.

I totally agree. Let them build nuclear bombs. Let them even use one on Israel. I can't see anything else that would give Israel the excuse to turn Iran into a glass factory. Peasent under glass anyone?

They do but it's a partnership with the US, it's based in the UK and has the ability to basically eavesdrop on any electronic communication internationally, it's not something targeted only at the US.

It certainly is compared to FOX.
CBS has made some mistakes like every news organization when trying to get a scoop but that's a far cry from systematic and deliberate lying for political gain.
Something you'll notice is that a legitimate news organization comes out with a public apology and takes responsibility when they make a mistake in their reporting.
FOX, on the otherhand, when caught in a lie refuses to even acknowledge it... much like the administration for which they work.

It's not about patriotism. They rely on us for a lot of stuff and want reliable information of their own. We play both sides over there, they can't trust everything we tell them. It's dirty, I don't like it, but if I were them, I'd probably do the same thing.

One that was really blatant that I'm still waiting months to see a correction or apology for was that whopper that Anchor and Managing D.C. News Editor Brit Hume told when he deliberately twisted around FDR's words to make it sound like FDR had planned on privatizing Social Security just like Bush wanted to do.

When it was exposed as a complete lie all he had to say was that his own words were being taken out of context. No apology. No accountability. No correction.

I know Iran wants to get tricky, hopefully it doesn't come to that because indeed Iran will evaporate along with other major side effects. Besides lets not forget that the nukes in Israel are an extension of the US military muscle. The US has enough power and influence in Israel to launch those nukes at will. Israel is a beautiful country but at times it appears to me almost like a mega military base/port.

yep, they do it through a facility called GCHQ and through memwith hill just up the road from where I live which is American It's ostensibly there to monitor Soviet radio traffic. Radio signals must travel pretty damn slowly in this neck of the woods
