Hi guys,

theunseenvideo is the final year project of Daniel Scheibel and me. The work was generated during the summer term of March-July 2005 at the Department of Design, University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, Germany.

The Unseen Video is much more than a normal, static music video. It is a video that is affected by the weather and local time from the position of the viewer.

We want to create new synergies between the music, the video and the surroundings of the viewer. Every little change in your environment ensures that you will never see the same video twice. The look of the video might slightly change within an hour, but will have a whole new character in a few months.

Ah, if anyone got problems with the locationsystem... please give us a short reply. Of course that system is not very exact. If our found position is near (within a radius of 100 miles) your real location, then it is ok.

It found my location Atlanta, GA I sent it to a friend that works at AOL near DC in Northern VA and his connection came up with NYC
